I have been involved in the life journey of creative discovery and self-expression that has spanned four and half decades. Having worked closely with, and learned from, many creative visionaries and pioneers, I believe that the body holds unmeasurable locked or untapped potential that responds in the most authentic way through self-compassion and the exploration of movement and creativity.  Using a trauma-informed approach, I am confident that the body remembers what the mind forgets, storing layers and even generations of memories and learned tension patterns.

As a certified TRE® provider, I combine embodiment techniques and therapeutic processes as transformative tools to encourage healthy release and self-mastery that can be practiced throughout one’s life and when the need arises in particular.  These techniques focus on the principles of gravity, release, recovery, discovery, creation, curiosity, and flow.

My primary aim is to create a safe space for others that allows for the uninhibited expression of the body through TRE or the creative processes of embodiment and holistic action (with the aid of a little grace and grit in equal measure).

When I am in the dance studio, I draw from my varied dance-specific training to assist others in finding their own creative voices using my experience with Contact Work, Improvisation, and Choreography to facilitate the creation of content within the structure of improvisational and truth-seeking theatrical practice.

It is about momentum, riding the wave, and pushing old and 'no longer in service' physical, emotional, and psychological boundaries.  Most importantly, it is about self-discovery through internal exploration and external physical responses within a safe and nurturing environment providing the platform to move, think, feel and laugh with freedom and resilience.
